About

Breaking all planner stereotypes, James hails from England and wears glasses! He has delved into the American psyche, having lived in places as exotic as Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, South Beach in Miami, New York City and, currently, San Francisco. He joined GS&P in 2012.

James grew up in a quaint little town in Shropshire, England, called Oswestry. He graduated from the School of Management at the University of Bradford in Yorkshire.

After graduating from the Miami Ad School Boot Camp for Account Planners in 2010, he landed at Kirshenbaum, Bond, Senecal and Partners in New York City, where he worked on the Vanguard Group, BMW, Giorgio Armani and Steak ’n Shake.

In 2011 James won the Miami Ad School Pick-of-the-Litter Award for his efforts in launching the BMWActiveE, BMW’s first 100-percent-electric vehicle.

When James isn't doing plannery things, he is most likley to be found clothed in spandex riding around California on one of his bicycles.
